Our love and prayers go out to the family of Donald W. Wagner, who departed form this life on February 17, 2010.  While we mourn his loss from our midst, we celebrate his eternal life in Christ, his keeper and redeemer. The funernal home service was helod on February 22 at the Donald G. Ford Duneral Home, Grafton, with Pastor Jacq officiating, followed by interment in the  National Cemetery at Pruntytown.

 

Bible Study to Resume with "Beatitudes" - - Join us from 10 a.m. to 11:30 on Wednesdays during Lent, as we explore the scripture based on Jesus' Sermon on the Mount.  As we study those blest by Jesus, we will gain a deeper understanding of our Savior, while we walk with Him as his disciples, on the journey to the cross.  Bible Study takes place in the manse.

Many thanks to Pastor James Kerr for his very generous donation to out church of a beautiful set of 8 large maps of the Biblical world, complete with a stand, for use in our Biblical studies.  Pastor Kerr joined us for Bible Study Last Wednesday.

 

 

 

Funeral Luncheon Appreciation - Many thanks to all whom generously contributed their time, food, and monetary resources for the funeral luncheon held at the church for Don Wagner's family and friends following the funeral service.

Cookbooks are still available.  Over 100 sold so far.  Books are $9 each, payable at the time of purchase.  Contact the church office for more information.

Have cabin fever? Still Hungry for Pancakes?  A Post-Shrove Tuesday Pancake Dinner will be served at 6 p.m., on Tuesday, March 23rd in the fellowship hall.  Jeff Stewart and his band of culinary volunteers will be flippin' the flapjacks.  Pastor Jacq will still share her presentation on this 1,000 year-old church tradition, which was postponed when the dinner had to be cancelled due to weather.  Please sign up, to cook or eat, on the sheet at the back of the church.  Invite family and friends to this opportunity for good food and fellowship.
